We've split the guide in two parts. The first part will show you how to install Ekushey Unicode Keyboard Layouts in your computer and the second part will show you how to make the layouts work for you.

To install Ekushey Unicode Bangla keyboard layouts you need to follow the steps below:

• Download the compressed disk image file named EK-OSX-Keyboards.dmg.zip from the Downloads page.
• Decompress the .zip file and double click the disk image.
• A window with a Read Me and an Installer named Unicode Bangla Keyboard Installer will be opened automatically.

• Double click the installer file named Unicode Bangla Keyboard layout Installer.


• The installer application will launch and the welcome window will appear. Click Continue.

• The Read Me window will appear. Read the Read Me and click Continue.

• The License window will appear. Read the License Agreement and click Continue.

• A sheet with Agree and Disagree button will appear. If you agree, click the Agree button.Well, you have to agree here, else we won't let you install Ekushey in your system.

• Select destination window will appear. Choose the disk you want to install. If you want to extract the keyboard layouts somewhere other than the default location, click the Choose button and select the location you like to install the fonts (i.e. to install the keyboard layouts in user's Library, click the Choose button and choose the Library folder of the users home folder).

• Installation type window will appear. Click Install button.

• The installer will install the keyboard layouts. After installation, Finish up window will appear. Click the Log Out button to log out and re-login.
